Writing notes

Finbar's platform includes a dedicated report-writing editor - essentially, a specialised word processor that integrates with its spreadsheet, charting, and AI capabilities.

Getting started

You can access the text editor under the Text tab. The AI tab is also capable of editing or writing into this editor (see more in the relevant documentation).

You can use keyboard shortcuts or the toolbar to interact with the editor. You can implement styling and document layout changes using this toolbar.

The toolbar also lets you insert spreadsheet snippets and charts. Chart styling can be edited in-line but all data for charts and spreadsheet snippets must link to the open workbook. If you want to make changes to the data, do so in the Workbook tab.
